Fred premiered on radio on October 23, 1932 with the Lint Bath Club Revue, and his last series was titled The Fred Allen Show and ran from 1942 to 1949. Allen’s funniest and most memorable radio sketch was called "Allen’s Alley" which debuted in December 1932.
